Michelle from 4 Men 1 Lady makes an incredibly bright, inviting and organized laundry room. With some shelving from The Home Depot and a little elbow grease, her laundry room becomes a clean and workable space.

Step
One area that Michelle knew she needed to organize and tackle her dungeon of a laundry room, located in the basement. Up until now it's been sort of the catch-all for EVERYTHING. Suitcases, refrigerators, paint supplies, etc.
Step
First, Michelle took a trip to The Home Depot to not only be inspired, but also to get cleaning supplies. The whole room was going to need a good scrubbing and get a fully stocked with laundry supplies.
Step
While there, she also bought some MDF (Medium-density fiberboard) to make shelves for the laundry room. She took measurements, had The Home Depot staff cut them for free, and made the world's easiest shelves to assemble.
Step
Nothing fancy, but when painted they look great and are totally functional.
Step
Now the are perfect open shelves for my detergents - Tide®, Gain® and Downy® - and other supplies like Bounty® paper towels. Some colorful added accessories make the space bright and cheery. These rolling baskets are great for sorting out the clothes and keeping them off the floor.
Step
Step
Then we finally got the space tiled with faux wood tiles, painted with a crisp, bright white and got organized. And after a little Swiffer Steamboost® - the dungeon has been transformed to delightful.
